Can you be too disabled to work, but not disabled enough for the ADA? America’s court system seems to think so.
According to the Consortium of Citizens with Disabilities, courts decide against people who challenge disability discrimination 97 percent of the time. CCD thinks this may have something to do with the high percentage of unemployment among people with disabilities, which is still around 75 percent, despite laws like the ADA.
I did not know about the 97 percent figure that seems extremely high to me.
