Paterson to Undergo Glaucoma Procedure - City Room - Metro - New York Times Blog

Doctors have determined that the sharp pain that caused Gov. David A. Paterson to be hospitalized this morning was the result of acute glaucoma in his left eye. Mr. Paterson is set to undergo an outpatient medical procedure today to relieve pressure on the eye. He will remain conscious during the procedure and is not expected to hand over his powers as governor.

I really hope he is okay
